What We Do

Currently, Love of Christ Missions works in the following ministries:

We are establishing a local church in Cotacachi, Ecuador, training believing men and women to participate in evangelism and discipleship. Cotacachi is surrounded by 40 indigenous Kichwa communities, and we are often called to share the gospel at funerals and visit the sick.

We help the local church in Cotacachi host Bible conferences and mission teams from the United States.

We support local native Ecuadorian pastors studying in Bible institutes.

We translate English Sunday school, evangelistic and discipleship materials for use in Spanish.

We teach the word of God in a clinic for recovering drug addicts in Otavalo, Ecuador.

We distribute Bibles to new Christians free of charge.

We help impoverished families with medical expenses and basic food supplies.

We hold Bible camps annually in the Intag region of the Cotacachi canton in Imbabura, Ecuador. Intag is a sub-tropical region two hours west of our primary ministry in the city of Cotacachi.

We support a ministry that teaches the word of God in a clinic for recovering drug addicts in Bahía de Caraquez, a city on Ecuador’s Pacific coast. We supply training materials, cover expenses for studies in Bible institutes, and offer practical mentorship and encouragement in the ministry.
