Missionaries
Blake and Allison Bess
Blake grew up in Mathews County, Virginia. He trusted Jesus Christ as his personal savior when he was ten years old. He moved with his family to Ecuador when he was twenty years old, and he began working with a missionary from Tennessee a few years later. In 2017 he became the pastor of Iglesia Bíblica de Cotacachi in Cotacachi, Ecuador, where he serves the Lord as a full-time missionary. In 2019, Blake met Allison at a Bible conference and they were married on June 6th, 2020. Blake is currently seeking to finish his studies long-distance with the Grace Institute of Biblical Studies, Duluth, MN.
Allison was raised in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. She became a believer when she was a child and has served in various churches and missions all her life, including volunteering several summers at the Seward Seaman’s Mission in Seward, Alaska. She has extensive experience in children’s ministry, Vacation Bible Schools, AWANA, Bible camps, and college campus ministries. Allison completed phase I of the Grace Institute of Biblical Studies. She has a master’s degree in collaborative piano and was teaching at the University of Minnesota Duluth until she married Blake in 2020.
Treasurer
Michael Pearson
Michael grew up in Duluth, MN. There, his family attended Duluth Bible Church where he was saved during his childhood in Sunday school. Over the years there he participated in a variety of children ministries, camps, media ministry, and was a treasurer on the finance team. He has his master’s degree in business administration and works full time as a consultant. Michael currently lives in Perry, GA where he attends Grace and Truth Bible Church, volunteers on the media team, and acts as the accounts payable treasurer. He is also an active student at the Grace and Truth Bible Institute and current treasurer for Love of Christ Missions.
